what color living room furniture goes with terra cotta walls?

my walls are a deep terra cotta i am not sure what color living furniture to buy

Cream will look beautiful, but it is a huge pain in the butt to keep clean.

What about a sage green? Stick with earth tones, since, obviously, terra cotta is an earth tone

    Some of your decision will be based on what the floor covering/color is as it is the other, largest color field. Since the walls are so rich and deep you may be better off going with a medium toned neutral/natural color such as tan or ecru. Use wall art, pillows and other objects to bring in some complimentary colors such as turquoise gold.
