Is a furniture store a good small business to open?

We want to open a rustic mexican style furniture store complete with the ambience. We feel the furniture would be cheap to import and we would make a nice profit on the margin.
This always a risk when you start a new business but with today’s technology start-up costs can be lower than expected. I would suggest stating with an ecommerce site and using dropshipping to reduce costs.
